Is care refresh worth the piece of mind?

Considering all the factors, bird attacks, living in a wooded canyon with erratic wind and lack of experience. I'm all in on purchasing some peace of mind.

That's one good reason to consider purchasing the insurance then. It really all comes down to how much risk you personally want to take.

If you decide insurance is the way to go, then DJI Care Refresh is the best option available.

Yeah, I think the newbie is less likely to push it to limits. You can make dumb moves as a novice or an expert.

I bought it for 2 drones 2 years each and have yet to use it.

Same with cars. Bought coverage so many times and never used it.

On my 6th drone is the last 9 years, with this Mini 4 pro I got the two year plan with it being so light and all plastic, two weeks ago I broke a tab off of one of the batteries just by removing from charger, zero cost to replace, today I accidentally backed into a small branch that couldn't see from 100 ft, broke off one leg, opened a refresh and sent back for a new drone, and will be expressed back to me for only $65.00, been lucky with this being I first crash ever.
