Is my current Care Refresh policy void?

I still have about a year remaining on my Mini 4K Care Refresh. Is it any good anymore, will it be honored, will I get the remainder refunded??? Anyone know the status?

Your DJI Care Refresh is not and only when DJI informs you it is terminated; there are no provisions to void or cancel or dishonor it that I have read. When you signed up, you got the service agreement by email and not only does it have a start date but also it has an end dates; it is a legally enforceable contract. You paid for it so both you and DJI are "winners" and you both gained something when you agreed to do business. Please consult that email contract for the terms regarding cancellation by either you or DJI. Pretty sure there are no refunds if you cancel and I'm pretty sure but not 100% positive if they cancel, they owe you something.

So far, I've heard rumor that existing Care Refresh will continue as is for now but I'm not sure what happens if you make a claim i.e. will you get the excellent and timely service you paid for; probably not. Honestly, it's not DJI fault and they are probably doing the best they can but I don't think they plan to screw Americans out of their Care Refresh by cancelling agreements; let's keep our fingers crossed the program returns soon and existing users get some sort of extension. Ultimately they are going to have to raise prices to pay for all this so we all need to buckle up for the crazy ride that is 2025 and into 2026.


3. Termination of Service

DJI has the right to refuse to provide services in case of any of the following circumstances:

1) Products for which service is required are purchased from non-DJI official or authorized channels;

2) DJI Care Refresh and the corresponding product are not purchased from the same country or region;

3) The service is applied outside of the coverage area;

4) The date when you apply for the service is not within the validity period of the service.

5) Failure to apply for services in accordance with the service process.

6) After applying for DJI Care Express, the corresponding main body or accessory is not returned as required.

In the case that DJI has fully fulfilled the obligations of the DJI Care Refresh service, the service will be terminated

under one of the following circumstances:

1) The coverage period agreed upon for each service has been reached;

2) The number of coverage times agreed upon for each service has been reached;

3) The user has requested to exit DJI Care Refresh, and the request has been confirmed by DJI.
 
I submitted a claim a month ago regarding a gimbal issue with my Air 2S. DJI provided me with a claim number and informed me that the service might be delayed due to customs issues. They advised me to wait for an email containing instructions for the shipping label. However, I have not received any communication from them. When I check the status of the claim, it simply indicates that it is pending.

Probably the best way to determine that, is to contact DJI and ask.
 
Good questions I have on all my DJI models. Why would it not be honored DJI has repair center in US .

due to current inventory and supply shortages of specific models or parts, it may lead to delays in the service process. For this reason, we recommend that you hold off on sending back your device for repair at this time. Once the supply has been normalized, we encourage you to resubmit your service request for prompt and efficient service. so suggest you not send right now, and once we had enough stock, you can issue a care case as normal.
