I am just wondering because I started with the mav after flying some stunt drones like the dromida. I was going to buy the phantom 4 till I saw all the buzz on the mav. And after flying the mav I think I made the right choice. I'm not all into the video quality and stuff(which is nice). No I bought it for the range, the FMV, the speed lastly video. I ALWAYS USE THE SPORT MODE the regular bores me to death. I also love the way it can bank with using the left stick to come back around over your head and full speed then bank again.

So my question is can the phantom 4 turn as fast as the mav and is it as much fun to fly?

Yes, the p4 is more graceful in the air, the landing gear act like rudders and feels more stable at high speed banking. Wind throws the Mavic around like a rag doll the weight of the P4 keeps it stable.

That said, the things I like about the Mavic is it is nimble in the air and you don't get prop wash when you push the Mavic at high speeds. I think Its easier to maneuver the Mav in small areas just turn off all the censors. Over all they both have a different feel flying and hard to compare and yes... they are both fun.

I would like to fly a Inspire 2 next with all the power and thrust and the feel of a larger aircraft.

very cool video dude. thanks for sharing. it looks like the phanton goes up and down faster than the mav(well from the video anyway) would you say that's true? when you were flying werre you watching the drone or the fpv screen do do those manuevers?

Let me clarify... the you tube Video is a phantom 3 shell modified with racing RC and components FPV just for kicks.

I'm not the pilot, but the video is just geek porn on you tube I thought was interesting. :^)
