is trackimo is semi-useless or am i cornfused?

using trackimo in the city or in a area that has landmarks such as streets,buildings ect.,its easy to locate the location of trackimo but
if its in a area like a huge forest that goes for miles,exactly how do do you determine exactly where the trackimo is?
anyone?

When locating your tracker in the Trackimo mobile app, you can see both your current location (the blue dot on the map) and the tracker's location. Knowing both of those locations should allow you to easily navigate to the tracker's location.

mine should have a blue dot but it doesnt,otherwise it works well.,but no worries,i have marco polo's for my phantom and mp's.

It's not a gadget I'd use because of a lack of coverage where I live and operate. I'm looking at animal tracking devices, some of which are small enough to fit to a bat and track up to 60kms, but their signal might interfere with drones using pure radio control I'm not sure, although the frequencies they operate on are different so....
