View media item 1905Hello all.

I am new to this forum, and I am new to drones in general.

I've had a bit of an incident (already).

In short, my Mavic Air dropped to the ground (from around 5metres), after having a collision with some branches.

The camera has become slightly detached, and I'm not sure what to do.

Obviously I will take the drone in to repair tomorrow, however my question is more related to the DJI Care Refresh.

As my drone was activated less than 48 hours ago, I could still technically buy it, although I imagine the fact that my drone is now damaged, would make me ineligible to purchase it.

Any advice on this would be much appreciated.

I have attached an image of the problem.

Technically yes, you could still get the Care Refresh if within the 48hr period. Not sure if any data from the drone is sent to DJI once you attach the Serial # to the Insurance. In other words, I can’t tell you for certain that they won’t be able to see the crash within the flight logs as stored within the DJI GO4 app and deny the purchase of the Care Refresh. When you purchase the Care Refresh, it asks to enter the Serial # of your drone. So who knows what they can or cannot see.

Purchase insurance with DJI or State Farm next time.
Fly Safe.
