This happens on both the internal storage and SD cards. At 1080p 30/60 FPS with codec 264/265 videos play normally on PC, RC2 and phone. At 4K and above, which is only 265, whether I set 30 or 60 FPS, only the RC2 plays those. The phone and the computer don't play at all.All I see is the first frame being frozen.I used VLC.Firefox also mentions corrupted file. The 1080p ones with any of the 2 codecs don't have any issues. You think this is a software or a hardware issue? Also used DJI assistant 2 to refresh both the drone and controller, plus formatted the internal storage on both devices.

You did not mention the specification of the computer you are using, so it's hard to tell if it's a hardware issue, but your description could be explained by under powered hardware. The RC2 controller does not have a 4k screen and isn't playing back your video at full resolution.

You might want to share a small sample clip so other's could download it and let you know if they have problems, which would tell you if it's your computer..

You could also try downloading a copy of Davinci Resolve (It's free) and try loading your clips into Davinci.

Why would my pc be off?We are just talking about simply trying to load an MP4 file that doesn't play, and even Firefox agrees.Only 1080p ones play everywhere.Yes even on phone, so it doesn't make sense with 4K/6K wouldn't.Im not talking about editing.

I will share 4 clips a bit later, although I come to believe the encoder chip in the drone in motherboard has issues.Sending it back tomorrow. It has been only 4 days after purchase.I have an air2s and never had issues just opening up MP4 files of 4K/5.4K videos.

I did a bit more research.Turns out the 4K video plays fine on Pot Player but not VLC.Also plays fine with Chrome but not Firefox.Opens up fine in Vegas Pro and Premier Pro.Photoshop doesn't open it but anyway. Also opens up with Avidemux and Handbrake. As for the 6K one.According to chatgpt, the resolution is portrait and not landscape. It was about 3384 width and 6016 height. That video could not open with Chrome, Vegas Pro and Photoshop. It could open with Avidemux, Handbrake, Premier Pro.Funny part was, Pot Player was able to play it, but was really showing it in portrait mode, while the rest made it look like landscape.Weird but also the 4K one could play on phone today.6K couldn't.Will do a bit more research and tests before I send it anywhere.

It could be that the software you are trying to view with does not have or support the Codec for H264 or H265. As you can view the video on Chrome your processor and graphic card are probably ok.

I know on my old version of Adobe Premier I had to install the Codec to Premier to get it to work
