We haven't been outside yet, but we both can hover in the front room.
I came from a micro (Propel), then a Cheerwing (CW4), and then a 'TELLO' ,
now the MA has us both hypnotized. And w/ the CAMO Skin attatched it's
even more awesome... Can't wait to have some of my questions answered...

Welcome to Mavic Pilots! Your MA is packed with amazing technology! Enjoy it but learn to get a bit more experience flying it with the controller. Eventually you can move up to flying it with just hand gestures.
Read up on it as much as possible to be able to get the full benefits of what the MA has to offer.

Let me know how the choice of color/design on the MA works out for you. I am very interested in something along the same line. At present, my skin is the Digital Urban Camo and, although it looks nice enough, I sometimes struggle against the mountains as background. Presently, I even use my strobes in daytime to help keep visual. Was thinking of solid orange.

I have been using the brightest color vinyl skins (fluorescent orange) for my Mavic 2 Pro so I can see it better against the sky. Being that it’s so small I want every advantage to see it better. And I just purchased the PgyTech LED propeller guards for the same reason. $79 on Amazon and well worth the money. They not only provide protection but they also provide the visibility that I have been looking for.

Yes... probably best never to fly inside with anyone other than yourself. If something went wrong and the drone just went off and flew into your grandson's face and took out an eye, you would never, ever forgive yourself. So think about that and keep the flying to outside, there is little if anything to be gained by flying indoors. Bundle up and get outside. Happy and safe flying to you both.
