Joysticks non functional

Hi everyone, just bought a Mavic Air for my Xmas present to myself. Followed all the instructions, updated firmware etc charged everything. First flight used auto lift off, all good, even took a couple of photos to check working. Great until went to use joysticks to move off and nothing no response whatsoever. Clearly connected green light on gimbal moves as required but just joysticks non functional so cannot fly it. Any suggestions? Tried reconnecting but made no difference. Please help very frustrated!!!

Make sure you're not in Wi-Fi mode.

Yes definitely in gps, any other thoughts I can check?

I have exactly the same issue with mine after updating firmware. Refreshed the firmware on the controller last night but too windy too they it out today
