Had a same experienced last time I was in Maui.

I was really scared.. it was a heavy rain and took me a good 2-3 min to land. No issue so far.. so might Mavic is waterproof [emoji23][emoji86]

Several times I had flown 10-20 mins in rain. No issues afterward. Just be sure to keep the drone on for as along as the battery lasts. Heat generated will dry up the drone.

Hmm.. make sense actually... I switched off and removed the battery immediately to avoid short circuit.
