Landings

Is there not a way I can have control over my Mavic all the way til touchdown.
I’m new with the Mav and every time about 2 feet off the ground the Mav stops and I loose stick control.
After about 5 secs I can press down on left stick and it automatically lands but I have no stick input.
I can land my bird much easier and soft than than the Mav does automatically.
I have a p4 and know how to land so what’s up?
Is this a feature of the Mav or can I turn it off somewhere.

You'll have full control of the landing after disabling the Landing Protection setting in DJI GO.
