I'm currently on v01.04.0100 firmware and using v4.1.15 of the Android Go4 App with no issues.
Looks like the latest firmware optimizes the startup music on the MPP. What exactly changes? Also Fixed an issue that prevented J+R format photos from being downloaded.
Has the ability to download offline maps been added back to the lasted version of the Go4 App?
I'm kind of in the the if it ain't broke don't fix it camp. I hear that the pano mode isn't that great anyway.
Does the latest firmware have any drawbacks? Currently I keep my device in airplane mode and use the downloaded maps and I haven't had any problems with restrictions, quizzes or forced updates before flying.
