What is the latest firmware? I checked and it said there was a firmware update but I had a low battery and didn't install. I switched batteries and tried again and it said I was up to date.. 1.00.40 I think it said it was. I'll revisit again when I have time, thank you msinger.

Could have just been a FW update for the battery. Put the prior battery back in and you'll likely get the prompt again. The second battery was likely updated at the same time as the aircraft. Each battery has to be updated separately.

You're both very helpful, thank you. I haven't updated the batteries in a while, all caught up now Thumbswayup

No, all of you are now wrong. LOL!
As of today, it's v01.00.0600
Be sure to update each of your batteries, too, as necessary, although no indication of a battery FW update this time.

I rechecked all my drone batteries and rechecked all my updates. I'll get to do some more updates when my Avata 2 arrives this afternoon, as well as my power supply 1000. Thank you gentlemen for your help.

When in doubt, fire up your drone and check if any updates are available. DJI is apparently lagging behind on their documentation sometimes.

Haha this probably happened soon after I checked the website😂

Be sure to put each battery in, wait 20 seconds or so after startup and then check for updates again. Each time on my other two batteries there was a short update that started at 70%.

With all the controversy about rid back in the day I got used to just using the current software on my m3p and have gotten lazy about the battery updates. I would just run them down to 60% instead of depending on the auto discharge function. Not anymore. Also had had a problem after a update on my m3p years ago that I had to contact DJI about that fixed the problem, just kind of freaked me out at the time.
