Latest rumors?

All,

As I haven't been too active on the forums (I know, sorry, new business to spend lots of time on), I have been a bit out of touch with the latest rumors on upcoming DJI products.
Said business might make it very attractive to sell my Mavic 1 Pro and Spark and acquire new drones. I was thinking the Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic Air, but would hate to buy something only to learn next week that a new product is announced.
I checked the known DJI rumors sites, and most of them seem to be stuck in 2018 with the Osmo Pocket and the Phantom 5... any "new news" about expected upated, leaks, etc., especially regarding the Mavics and Spark products?

DroningON (a pretty reliable source for leaks) posted this thread in the DJI forum about some kind of new product being announced on (or close to) April 23rd. The video has been deleted from YouTube for some reason. I watched it when it was originally posted and it didn't mention what kind of product was supposedly going to be announced.

Haha thanks guys, I know it's kind of a stupid question. But in the months prior to the Mavic Pro2 or the Mavic Air or the Spark, the interwebs were buzzing with rumors... Would be feeling really stupid if I bought something now which when there is something new around the corner.

I guess I would be safe trading the Mavic Pro for the Mavic 2 Pro, but might hold off on buying the Mavic Air as well then...

Well they will always have something differant or just changed up around the corner but you won’t go wrong with getting a M2P. Hasn’t ceased to amaze me yet.

I saw a post on some website saying that DJI will NOT be developing a phantom 5. I’m not joking and I wish I could reference better information but it came from a DJI spokesperson. I haven’t even bothered to google it I was just bummed out

That was absolutely terrible to wake up to this morning!!! To know I missed that opportunity by just hours was a bummer. I even called to see if they could honor it, I figured I had nothing to lose, the guy on the phone was super cool and tried to get the pricing for me but ended up a no go! It was a 1 day deal

DJI is very good at keeping a lid on leaks and what does get out is usually only a week or two before any new release.
Almost all rumours are just uninformed people guessing or making a wish list amd most turn out to be very wrong.

You didnt miss anything really. I would not recommend the Alpine "White Rhino" Mavic to anyone because this model Mavic is impossible to source parts for. If you break something as simple as an arm, you wont be able to find a part to replace it yourself because this drone has been discontinued. They are just selling off old stock.
