How is your visibility... would think pointing it upward would be a poor voice for that purpose.

Yes, this mounting approach is helpful only during low altitude flights. For normal flights you need to attach the on battery door

Cheap solution navigation lights for the MM. At the Lidl (the Netherlands) bought two sets of bicycle rear light for € 1.99 each including lithium battery. The LED light is easy to remove from the plastic holder and secure with Velcro strap on the rear legs of the MM. The red LED can flash steadily, slowly and quickly. The Velcro allows you to quickly attach or remove the LEDs.

Daytime: Close to: reasonable. Far away much less. The LEDs are more for evening flights; then they are clearly visible

I found mini strobes for drones at aliexpress and also bangood I bought two from aliexpress dont know quality but when they arrive Ill post again..

Here's where I've mounted my one and only strobe a Firehouse Arc II strobe on my MM.
I've used Velcro and attached to the lower battery door and across the card, its slightly angled down in this position.

Mavic Mini Strobe Spotlight really helps maintain Line of sight , mounts on bottom, did not block the power button like another cheaper one I saw, and with the Firehouse Arc Strobe mounted in it can be seen as far as I can fly. Also vented does not impact the vents and is designed to be balanced so the mini actually lands on it and act as a perch which protects light and lifts the mini up and does not place off balance. Can be snapped on and left or removed as needed. I use in the strobe mode at night and the flash or steady mode (solid on) during the day, looking up easy to pick it up from a distance.
