Joining in trying to get my new to me Air 2 going. Picked up a tablet with correct specs, runs DJI fly Ok, but won't link up.

Which tablet did you purchase? How are you attempting to link things up? What happens instead?
welcome to the forum,the drone is already linked to the RC it came with ,and its the RC that links to the tablet ,down load the manual and it will explain how to do it

Yep, here to figure a few thing out. Been flying RC for 50 years, doing drone well before it was a thing.
Was searching for a fix before I have to return this tablet. Is a Vastking Kingpad 8in. Octo core 1.6, 64 bit, USB-C. I know this is not the right forum to figure this out though. DJI Fly runs, but the drone and the controller never link up, no picture.
Cool, the Jelly Belly P-51 is buzzing around outside.
