I just got my Mavic Pro with the Fly More Combo and I flew it today until all 3 batteries were at 30%.
I had no issues!
I did NOT calibrate the IMU, I did NOT calibrate the compass.
All I did was update the firmware (not really much of a choice) and set it on the ground, turned on the drone battery, turned on the controller battery, got the "Ready for Flight" notice, touched the Auto-Take Off, moved the slider to confirm my choice....
And I was flying!!!
When each battery approached 30% I would land and turn off the battery, swap in a charged battery, wait for "Ready for Flight" and take off again!
There were a couple times I forgot to focus the camera and even more times I forgot to turn on the video recording!! Those problems are obviously operator error and do not reflect on the Mavic.
I started in "Beginner Mode" for the first few minutes to get comfortable with the controls and then I turned Beginner Mode off.
I didn't try for any real distance until the third battery. Then I flew off toward the local beach (deserted this time of year) and made it only about 1,500 ft and the controller told me "Maximum distance reached"!! I flew back to where I was and looked for the setting to turn off the "Limit Distance" option. When I found it I took off for the beach again! This time I made it (sweating bullets the whole time, waiting for my drone to fly away on me), and turned around and flew back to where I was. One way distance to the beach was about 1.5 miles.
I'm currently fighting off a cold (probably should not have gone out today, but I HAD to!) so I'm not sure when I'll fly again.
