Liability Drone Insurance?

Does it have to explicitly list drones among the items covered or is it under personal liability or personal property, that is liability caused by personal property other than cars or watercraft, which are usually spelled out?

And would homeowners/umbrella policy cover incidents in other countries? Because it doesn't appear in the US that there's a requirement to carry liability insurance but several countries do seem to explicitly say you must have liability insurance.

For personal liability on homeowners, it will cover any damages in which the insured (you having the policy) are found liable for. It does not matter what actually caused the damages so long as it is not covered by a different liability policy (auto and watercraft you asked about.) Your drone itself will not have a liability policy from a standard insurance carrier, just a property coverage to replace the drone if it is lost, stolen, or damaged. Depending on how you insure the drone itself, it may have a deductible. Your homeowners policy itself will have a “Coverage C” portion for personal property which is anything in your home (potentially more that just in home as well) but would be subject to deductible. You can get a Personal Articles Policy with no deductible on just the drone. The Homeowners or Umbrella options travel with you wherever you go, but keep in mind they are often not acceptable as a “drone specific liability policy” other countries may require to fly in.
