Limited charging of batteries

Does anyone know of a “smart” charger for drone batteries in which you can set a limit, for example “55%” of capacity, and then it turns off?

Why?
If I know I’m not going to fly tomorrow, then I’d like to limit the charge of a spent battery to a “storage level” rather than charge it all the way to 100% and wait 3 days for it to naturally discharge.

Why?
Because I keep paying attention to the other forum members who know LIPO batteries a lot more than I do, and they recommend not holding them at 100% charge.

Again Why?
It would probably be overkill, but I think it would be really cool, and I suffer from OCD.

you are better off just flying them down to around 50 percent, i have 4 batts and i can get a good hours flying that way then they are safe to store till the next time you are going to fly,anything between 45 to 65 percent is ok even if the app says 45 percent you will find that they recover to 50 percent after they cool down the main thing is to keep an eye on individual cell levels they should all be similar @RadioFlyerMan

Yeah. That’s what I’ve been doing. I temporarily set my low bat warning to 50% and go fly. The idea of my post is more laziness and dreaming.

Not sure which drone it’s for, but this Mavic 2 charger does what you are looking for. It charges to 65% or 100%.

I usually set a 20 minute timer on my phone to charge a 20% battery up to around 60% more or less(3rd light flashing).

Brilliant! I was thinking that I could try that, but use a line voltage timer to shut off the charger. That way I can ignore it. I’ll be generally starting from 30%, but I’ll adjust the time. Yeah... third dot flash.

Not a tough math problem to figure out... Watch the charger and the batteries' lights and then connect to the drone and check where you're at on the percentage...
You might have to do this for a couple of batteries the first night until you now where you want be...
60%??? 3 lights flashing for me...
