Lion's Head, Cape Town

Lion's Head is a popular spot for viewing the summer sunset in Cape Town, the views are spectacular and the show seldom disappoints. The climb is manageable by most able-bodied walkers although there is one section of steep rock face that you need to climb up stainless steel foot holds...there is an easier but longer way past these points.....

Wow.. Great video.

I visited Capetown a few years back. I could see Lion's Head out my hotel window. I had no idea you could climb it. I'm guessing that you took off from the summit in order to get that high above the ground level at the base.
