Litchi and "Refresh" update??

I know there were several threads from a few months ago about this topic. Does anyone have any updated information on this - i.e., assuming a land-based malfunction/crash, does DJI honor the Refresh replacement if you were using the Litchi app? Is the the data that can be obtained via Litchi sufficient for their purpose??

They most likely do not use the data from the RC/Phone. They read the black box on the drone itself. They won't honor your refresh if you lost the drone or intentionally destroyed it.
