Litchi Waypoints Camera Issue

I’ve created a mission using the waypoints and one central POI so that the drone will start recording video from the first waypoint and continue all the way around.

As soon as the drone gets to the first waypoint and begins recording, the camera tilts straight down and is not focusing on the POI.

I’m using an Air 2S. Any idea why this is happening?

Can't read out from your attached pictures what gimbal pitch setting you have for the waypoints.

They can be:



Check it & if necessary, check Litchis user guide section regarding waypoints --> Help - Litchi

I do have it set to focus POI for all waypoints.

Could it have anything to do with the fact it shows it’s in pano mode? If so, how do I disable that?

What you describe is not the expected behavior for a waypoint mission where the waypoint headings are set to a POI and the gimbal pitch is set to Focus POI. However, without more details or seeing the actual mission all we can do is guess at what might be causing the problem.

The panorama icon that you show does not mean that your drone is in "pano mode". That is just a panorama preset icon that would add a number of camera actions if you pressed it (which you have not done). From your screenshot, the upper-left corner of the screen shows that Litchi is in Waypoint mode.

Is this your very first waypoint flight?
Have you successfully flown other waypoint flights where the Gimbal Pitch mode was set to Focus POI?
Does this -90 degree anomaly happen with all flights or only this particular mission?

I have run waypoints before using the original mavic pro just fine. This is the first time I'm attempting with the Air 2s. I've run several different waypoint poi missions at different locations and keep getting the same results with the gimbal not tracking the poi and dropping down to -90.

Can't find any obvious reasons in your attached mission, but...

Gimbal Pitch to -90°, used to be a known issue with the Air2s, but was resolved with the firmware update from 3/15/2022:
New Air 2S firmware Released (3/15/2022)

Have you updated your equipment to the latest?
