Looking for some good spots in Brisbane

Good day Everyone, I have a 1 day lay over coming up soon in Brisbane so were wondering if anyone out there can point me to some good flying sites in the area. Thanks in advance

Upper Brisbane river round my crosby is great. Dam at lake Manchester, water plant and wier all good photo opportunities.
Avoid Gold Coast like the plague as the Comm Games forcing vigilant rule enforcing.
The Bay Area could be good, but getting close to nfz’s

I just checked the "Can I Fly There" App. It states that you can fly in the Glass House Mountains, but to be aware there may be low flying aircraft and also to check with local council etc.
