M2P distance gains

Has anyone upgraded from the MA to M2P? I got a modded MA with a Raptor XR on 4W 5.8 GHz amps. Just wondering how the distances compare in crowded areas.

3000 feet through trees. Without, only 2000 feet. I can get 6000 or 9000 feet in wide open areas but from my house and through the trees, wondering if the M2P is better.

Its really hard to say. You can always get an M2 and if it doesnt meet your needs, just return it. Maybe get it from a place that lets you return it with no fees.
