By "alone", does that mean that you aren't using the Lens Corrections in LR? Just saying, if you're going to compare, you should apply lens profiles in both apps.

I have, LR lens correction does not do for detail what DXO does. DXO Optics Pro and subsequent software has been an industry standard for getting the most out of lenses in the digital realm for some time now.

I don't always use it on lenses made by Zeiss, Leica or Nikon for example but I will not even touch an M2P DNG file until it has gone through that process.
