M2P shutter speed

My new bird with just 10 flight is abnormally slow
When trying to take a picture or activate the video mode .
As compared to my MP1
Which is instant

Is it me or is there lag on M2P camera activation.?

No significant or noticeable lag on my unit with the Smart Controller. Maybe 100ms.

I think u’ll find that the so called lag is actually the camera trying to focus. Since the Mavic has such wide angle lens u can focus on anything in the middle distance the switch toManual focus. Now you’ll find it’s pretty snappy.
The M2P can capture over 100 MB/s so u need a Class3 micro sd

Get a SD Card with U3 and the V number is what is important. At least V30 or higher.

I also experienced a slowness between shots with my M2P while using the same SD Cards that worked fine on all my prior DJI Drones until I bought and used the SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC UHIS-1 Card. This is the same SD Card shown in the DJI Store to work with the M2P. This card will write up to 90MB/s. This card is selling on Amazon for $20 for the 64GB SD Card.
