Ma2 controller/note9 connection

Just bought a MA2,I've had a phantom 3 for a few years, I can't get my note9 to connect to the controller for the MA2. I've tried a new cable, and several other things...no connection! I'm fairly sure it in the settings on my phone. Please help.TIA

I've had troubles with my note9 connecting. Make sure the port in the phone is clean. I've used rubbing alcohol and a toothpick to clean my several times. eventually it starts to works.

My symptoms where the connections to the controller would connect and disconnect. the phone would report charging then not etc. over and over.

Have you tried any other phones? It could be (unlikely) a defective port on the controller.

I did try an iPhone, it connected easily !
