Flying the same course?I used to get about 4 miles when I first bought it. Now it seems to lose connection around 1 mile. Everything else is fine though. Shame.
No. I could do the extra distance in the towns. But when out in the mountains, I get much less. I thought it would be the other way around.Flying the same course?
Mountains block signals too.No. I could do the extra distance in the towns. But when out in the mountains, I get much less. I thought it would be the other way around.
If you were able to fly the same course and got far less distance, perhaps there is an issue with your Drone that needs to be reviewed by DJI.... Course if you were visiting some place and took a long flight and its far away from home, then probably not possible.No. I could do the extra distance in the towns. But when out in the mountains, I get much less. I thought it would be the other way around.
My latest range attempt completed over 30k feet on a 94% battery. Good, clear run w/Yagi antenna. No obstacles. Had to abort on RTH when gimbal and compass froze and locked. It works way farther than I care to fly, so I'm happy!
If you guy's whatcha DJI will be Lowering the Range A little each time they updates and new drones and radio I had a new Mavic 2 pro and ordered a.New smartcontrller I had a hard time going 4,000 feet with it not sure why there dropping the range but have a ide whyYou really have to pay attention to aiming the controller at the drone, more so than the old controller... Lots of folks get really amazing range. I tend to keep it closer anyway as my nerves are attached to my wallet.
