Magic Pro altitude problem

My mavic pro is capping my altitude at around 20ft. I've checked and set my maximum altitude. My settings stay, but I'm still restricted. I've double and triple checked beginner mode is off. I'm not in any flight restriction zones. (Verified through air map) I've logged out of and back into dji. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice. I've powered down and rebooted the phone, app, controller, and drone, several times. I've tried using recorded routes that exceed the imposed altitude limit. I've used 2 phones and a tablet with no effect. I've checked for updates, both in the app and through the app store. Nothing works. Any other ideas?

I am pretty sure this happens when you are not logged into the app.
Take a breath, start over, and If this is a new fresh out of the box Mavic, there will almost certainly be firmware updates needed.
