Best of luck! Make sure all props are on correctly and tight. Set RTH Altitude properly for surrounding area.
Connect to drone from DJI Go App before arriving at your destination to make sure no Error Messages and Video Transmission is working properly. etc,

Create a shot list or a list of training maneuvers to enhance your flying skills.

I remember my first flight with my P2v+, all will be great, enjoy.

WHAT A BLAST. I was scared, but it was perfect.

I kept it in beginner mode, took of and stayed within 25 feet. Definitely need to get familiar with the sticks, so a think a lot of beginner mode is in order.

Took off and landed several times. My dogs wanted to attack.

I can't wait till tomorrow to spend real time with this thing. I think I will burn through all 5 batteries tomorrow for sure.

A few observations.
I never took the gimbal lock off.
I forgot to put the antennas up.
It was a bit windy, but it seemed really stable.
Landing is really simple. I even landed it on top of a pedestal on one of my stairways from the house.
Learning the sticks and their functions obviously takes practice.
I am sure before I ever record anything, or even think about setting camera settings that I will need a few hours of flight time. Even though I really want to fly it out over the whales soon.
