Air 2 Manhattan Bridge from Dumbo

So can you fly on the DUMBO side of the area? I have a conference where it would be fun to get a shot of 200 people using a drone, but I can't get a good idea of whether its allowed there. Looked at Air Aloft--and it says I don't need LAANC. It might be an indoor shot anyway....but still want to be "legal".

You are technically not allowed to fly anywhere in NYC except for a few designated parks without permit. There are Park police around the bridges that can electronically detect your drone and will instruct you to land your drone if they catch you.
