I was watching a Russian video of the Mavic 4 Pro and the pilot manually turned on ATTI mode (go to 7min mark). Any idea how this is accomplished?

  • Open the DJI RC 2 app and connect the drone.
  • Go to the flight mode settings. You can find this by tapping the settings icon and navigating to the flight control settings.
  • Find the F switch (flight mode switch). By default, it is often set to TNS (Tripod mode).
  • Select the custom mode and assign it to ATTI mode.
  • Confirm the change by accepting the warning message.
  • Test the setting by moving the F switch to the ATTI position and verify that the drone's status changes accordingly before you fly.

I'm not seeing this at all. What am I missing?

  • Connect your drone and open the *DJI Pilot 2 app*.
  • Navigate to the settings: Go to the flight mode settings, which are typically found under "Flight Mode" or "Controls".
  • Access the F switch settings: Find the "F switch" or "Flight Mode switch" configuration, which is likely set to "Tripod" or "TNS" by default.
  • Switch to ATTI mode: Change the setting to "AS" for ATTI mode.
  • Confirm the change: Read the disclaimer that appears, which explains that ATTI mode provides manual control, and confirm to activate it.
  • Test ATTI mode: Before flying in ATTI mode, it's recommended to test it in a controlled environment. Once in ATTI mode, the drone will drift with the wind and will not use GPS for positioning.
  • Return to normal mode: To exit ATTI mode, simply move the F switch back to the middle position (or the position that enables GPS and other intelligent features).

These settings don’t appear to be present for the Mavic 4 Pro

DJI Pilot 2 app is an Enterprise app and is not compatible with the Mavic 4 Pro.
Best hope is using Drone Hacks or some other program to modify the flight parameters, assuming this particular is parameter change is one that still works. It certainly used to, back in the day. One had a choice of replacing either Sport Mode or Cine Mode with ATTI Mode.

Maybe they have private solution, I didn't think drone hacks was compatible with Mavic 4 Pro

Are you just spouting AI hallucinations? If so that's never helpful, quite the opposite.

DH might have no "hacks" for it but you can still set up FC parameters with it (no license required). Still works with the latest released aircraft (neo 2) but some of them will reset parameters on their own. look for "fswitch" settings, those are the mode switch positions, and to get ATTI you want to set one to 3.
