Mapping software on Smart Controller

Are there any mapping software that is compatible with the Smart Controller? In fact, is there anything other than DJI's own apps that works well with the SC? More and more I get the feeling that I might be better off using an Ipad and ditch my SC altogether.

The Smart Controller wasn't built for installing 3rd party apps on.
If you want to use mapping software you need a regular controller and a tablet (and a drone model that's supported by the mapping software)..

I’ve had great success using the smart controller and DJI Pilot PE with my Mavic 2. It’s user friendly and can be tailored to fit just about any mission. Just launch and watch hands-free.

For DJI Pilot PE, Mavic 2 enterprise is listed as compatible. Plain old mavic 2 is not. i take it maybe they should have listed mavic 2 as compatible ?

You are correct, the Mavic 2 is compatible with the Mavic 2 enterprise selection.
