Mavic 2 Battery Terminals

Hi there, I am trying to understand what the middle two pins on a Mavic battery are for. The left 4 are GND, the right 4 are V+, but I am trying to figure out what the middle two are used for. It seems they are some sort of COM lines, and are labeled on the chargers as "IO" and "CC"/"NC". Any ideas?

It would be my guess that they would be for telemetry.

They definitely don't need to be attached for charging
