Mavic 2 Pro Batteries: Why So Expensive?

Has anyone heard an explanation of why a battery for a Mavic 2 is US $50 - $60 more expensive than one for the Mavic Pro?

The technologies don't differ significantly.

It’s 4s the mavic Pro is 3s. But the real reason is it’s newer and so you get a premium for that.

Some wisdom I learned a long time ago. The price that you sell something has absolutely nothing to do with the cost to make it. It is only dictated by what the customer is willing to pay.

The above, plus the usual where extra markup on accessories allows to price the main product lower which is what most people will look at when looking for what to buy.

Compared to iphone, dji runs quite a reasonable margin. The raw lipo of good quality would be in $50-$70 area for this pack of high voltage 4.3v cells. They also have charger and a connector - so all in all it is quite fine.
