Ah further follow up to this, I received the actual drone back from DJI. Strangely they had the battery loose in the box and not attached to the drone, which cause some shipping damage to the internal box.
But it appears they've just replaced the whole drone with a new drone. As parts they didn't quote on, that had scratch/impact damage (like the camera housing), are no longer damaged. Also on connection to the controller, it's asking to activate the drone as a new device. Which would mean the whole system board is new?
