I'm getting around 350-500m of flyable distance in my area and I've been reading everywhere about changing from CE to FCC to get alot better performance. However this seems to only work with older hardware? Is there a known, safe way to force FCC on android devices for the Mavic 2? I'd even be willing to pay for an app that would allow me to use the drone to it's full potential.VidMate

Thanks.

It says in your profile you’re in the US, so why do you think your equipment is flying under CE transmission?

CE transmission is used in Europe and a few other territories around the world. FCC transmission is used in the states. So, if you’re in the US as your profile states you will already be using the FCC bandwidths and ‘hacking’ the app would be completely pointless.. The Mavic’s use GPS to determine which transmission system they need to use - all the hack did was fool the app into thinking it was in an FCC country.
