HI All I am after some clarification on a legal point. If I take off from the top of a hill am I allowed to go up to 400 feet high . My local police force say NO... Advice please... Thanks All Graham Woods

Yes you can. (In the USA)

The law is 400 feet AGL.

You could technically climb Everest (not in the USA, I know), if you stayed within 400' AGL.
