I find the Mavic 3 lens too wide to shoot an object for example the artist in a music videro. You need to fly too close and scare the person. Anyone else feels that way? I loved the HQ mode in the Mavic 2 pro. Now this mode is gone plus the lens is wider. Is there any stick on solution (x2 converter?) that keeps the quality as stunning as it is now? cheers+thank you!

Use the telephoto lens. Duh.

def not an option. if you own a M3 you know that that tele lens is more like an add on but you would never shoot on it as a main camera. much too close (makes it unstable) and reduced functionality/quality. that's prob also why they took it out now

yes - that's what i did a lot in my latest clips and thanks to the great resolution it works. the HQ mode still offered the full resolution output right? that footage back then was just perfect, only the 60fps was missing which i would never wanna live without now... is it optically difficult to turn a wide angle into a an at least 50mm type-ish angle? just wondering why no one offers that as a clip on, maybe together with a ND filter. that would be too perfect

Because it would necessarily be too heavy for the gimbal motors to lug around. Add-on high quality optics are heavy, especially for a gimbal.
