Mavic 3 Pro - Volunteer Work

I’ve been searching for volunteer opportunities with my M3P, and one of the requirements is the ability to collect aerial imagery for 2D orthomosaic work and render those 2D maps. There’s a lot of information available, but I’m not sure where to begin. Any input or guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Happy flying!

It was a lot easier back in the days of the Phantom 4 pro & Mavic 2 pro, when DJI provided their SDK to allow 3rd party software developers to write programs that worked with DJI drones.
Then you would run a mapping program like DroneDeploy to plan, fly and acquire the images.
DJI haven't released an SDK for your drone.
There is a workaround but I haven't ried it.

Then to process the imagery and create orthophoto mosaics, you need powerful computer for processing and expensive software (Agisoft Metashape).

I haven't tried it, but the workaround involves using Litchi as explained in this video>
