Edited Post : To correct the Canon Set Up used.

Sometimes knowing what the very best of what a company has to offer helps to appreciate or understand better. , this lets me know how far I really am from full potential of a product

In this case its the

25mm-15000mm 600X Super-telephoto ZOOM- Canon EF 800mm F5.6 IS -4K- Taipei 101 超望遠 , however the video does not show the Lens but this thumbnail appears.

$13,000.00 for comparison and perspective to the Mavic 3 Zoom at 7x Digital for $2500.00

What I noted right away was that very similar in fashion to the Mavic 3 the Lens has to punch thru to gain focus on the Target,
which took the same amount of zoom to do so. Also not every focus level was a clean as the next . Interesting . @zeusfl

Below are the zoom frames from the Monster 600 F/4 Canon Lens with stablization

What I am noticing right away is that there is no real clarity on the 4x the same as the Mavic 3 Zoom, it has to punch thru to its target point.

This is where the zoom starts to punch in , again very similar to the Mavic 3 zoom function

I also think that grayness at the bottom of the frame may be smog, maybe as it increases with the zoom.

There was no 7x zoom unfortunately , but you can see that 10 is a sweet spot. Keep in mind the lens can go to 600 x zoom but will be going to

This helps me quantify the Price tag of 15 grand for the canon lens and 3 grand for which we get some pretty nice results very similar to the punch of this expensive world class lens.

With a little editing this would have really popped.

Canon EF 600mm F4

Isn't the Canon EF 600mm F4 a fixed telephoto lens?
As such, it has no zoom capability at all, let alone 600x.
It's optical magnification is 12x compared to a normal 50mm lens.
That can be increased by adding teleconverters to it of 1.4x, 1.7x, or 2x.

The 7x telephoto lens on the Mavic 3 is a 162mm equivalent lens in the 35mm format, which is roughly 1/4 the telefocal length of the Canon EF 600mm F4.
At the 28x digital zoom on the Mavic 3 telephoto f/4.4 lens, you can then compare the images to the Canon EF 600mm F4.

Those 1x, 2x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 30x images should be from a 50mm lens, a 100mm lens, a 200mm lens, a 250mm lens, a 500mm lens, and a 1500mm lens respectively. What is labelled as 600x can only be a 20x digital zoom of the 1500mm lens equivalent from stacking a 1.7x teleconverter on top of a 1.4x converter on top of the Canon EF 600mm F4, which would approximate 1428mm but would lose 2.5 stops of aperture, converting it from f/4 to f/9.5.

Where did the photos come from, and who put the magnifications on them?

lol.. 600x is not the same as 600mm. The 7x telephoto camera on the Mavic 3 is equal to 161mm. So that Canon 600mm lens is more like 4 times the zoom of the 7x camera. Also, the 7x camera is only 12 megapixels. That Canon 600mm lens can be paired with dozens of different cameras.

There's some confusion here.
It's not the 600mm f4 lens at all.

It looks like they came from here:

There was some confusion from his channel as this what I could make it out of it..

Unfortunately when I watched the video, i missed the thumbnail and the video did not show the Lens Setup.

For those interested I have emailed canon so they can tell me what there seeing looking at this lens.
No matter its a lot of lens , and I feel better about the zoom on the mavic 3 now..

Ok made some edits, Thank you as the actual video does not show the lens setup , so the zoom he is showing is not correct on his pictures ?

The video description on Youtube says "Canon EF 800mm + some extenders". But if he's claiming 600x magnification, he'd have to use teleconverters totaling 37.5X. Even five stacked 2X teleconverters would provide only 32X and five is a ridiculous number. The 600X claim has to include a lot of digital zoom.

This is hot mess, as i was looking for this setup :
Now I have more research to find the zoom levels on this one.
