Mavic 3E - RC Pro Enterprise _ Pilot 2 App: Issues creating and using offline maps

Hello Mavic 3E Braintrust,

I am having issues creating offline maps with a good satelitte view. I created a few and they are detailed enough in the standard view, but not very usable in satelittle view.
The Map Setting | Offline Map Download function, in the Pilot 2 app does not allow the user to create an offline map from a satelitte view. The standard map view is good, but I cannot really use the satelittle view for precise route boundries.

I am assuming, after I create the offline map it is just there in the controller and is automatically used, when in that area where there is no Wi-Fi available. I did not see any function that allows me select an offline map for me to use, that I created.

Any suggestions or is this just a limitation of the offline maps function in the Pilot 2 App?

The offline maps on the DJI controllers are awful, only tiny areas can be downloaded at a time. Maybe consider using a wifi hotspot on your phone or getting their 4G/LTE dongle and sim card to use mobile data from the device to get the maps at the time. This has been raised many times but still the issue continues.

Appears their recent DJI Pilot 2 update has improved the offline maps significantly - you can drag a box and download larger areas now. Far more useful!

I have firmware version, V02.01.0510 installed on RC Pro Enterprise Controller. There is an update available, V02.01.0517, but therelease notes "These updates are only supported by DJI Dock 2 and DJI Matrice 3D/3TD aircraft."

I am still wanting to have satellite versions of my offline maps but that feature is not avaiable.

That's the update I've installed on mine, I think it introduced that improved offline maps feature unless I simply didn't notice before.
