Big props go to the camera… honestly, I’m totally blown away by it.
It’s basically the camera I’ve wanted ever since I first saw “E.T.” when I was 10 years old.

HDR content.

It was processed using HDR, therfore if you are able to view the video, you are seeing the HDR processed content.

I am seeing HDR content that has been squeezed into an SDR monitors color space. HDR has levels of darkness and brightness that very a few people‘s monitors are able to show so no, I am not seeing HDR on my non-HDR monitor. You don’t actually see HDR unless you are Viewing with an HDR monitor.

You would be pretty wrong. True HDR monitors are pretty expensive and most people do not have them.

I’ve got the Philips Momentum 436M6VBPAB (mid-range monitor), and honestly, I’m super happy with the quality, especially for just 528 euro. Totally recommend it!

Picking the right music is always my biggest struggle... Sometimes I feel like just leaving out the music completely and letting the wind (sound effect) do its thing.

Agree, finding the right music and the right mood is a not an easy process.
But music is very important for the pictures, it is the soul of the video.
What I am trying to do is picking up the right music BEFORE I do the shots - so I know what tempo is needed and pointing out the breaks … and so on … for me this helps.

Totally, music sets the vibe. Honestly, I could write a whole book on how much it affects a video.
The way I do it is kinda backwards - I’ve got like 200 tracks downloaded, and then I try to find the right one after I watch the footage during editing.
But yeah, the real issue is that there’s just not a ton of great tracks out there. Lately I’ve been going with more ambient stuff, ‘cause it lets the viewer focus on the visuals instead of the music. It’s gotta be kinda neutral, but still nice.
Music shouldn’t steal the show.

Beautiful! The only critique would be the white strobe like transitions. They are too distracting to me. It takes me a few seconds to see again after being blinded by the bright flash. Other than that stunning video of very dramatic scenery. M4P does orange glow sunsets very well indeed ..
