I buy my photo gear from BH Photo Video. With my payboo credit card I pay no sales tax. BH has employees that have been with them for 30 years or longer, unlike Amazon that treats its employees like so many worker drones.

I can process a return with BH even when they are closed as they have a very slick automated system in place.

Many problems with Amazon selling returned products as being "new" and with counterfeit items like camera batteries.

For me, Amazon depends on what you are buying; good in some areas, not so good in other areas.

People have figured out how to take advantage of Amazon by purchasing something new ship/sold by Amazon (such as a new drone) and then taking out the new product and replacing it with something of similar weight whether it's bars of soap or bricks or foam. They will sell the drone and then return the box using the brain-less Amazon return process where no one checks. The new victim is the person who receives a box of bricks and it's very likely Amazon will accept the return again and then cancel the drone s/n with DJI but that drone is already in the hands of an honest victim.
