It was obviously a pre-order, and during "interesting times," pre-orders may never be received by the optimistic seller, who gets to keep your money until you realize it will never be received, or past the dispute time with your CC, and fighting with them through the A to Z Guarantee is always a nightmare, as Amazon always gives the seller the benefit of the doubt, and more time to respond.

I will give them until Nov 5th to ship and then I will cancel.

Do we now we have a yet a new category of uncertainty with a third party Amazon Marketplace seller?

Is "ships from Amazon" a distinction with or without a difference when it isn't listed as "fulfilled by Amazon?"
What was the promised delivery date range when you placed the order?
What does Amazon say about the delay?
So is your only recourse the A to Z Guarantee, or is Amazon able to immediately refund your money because it "ships" from Amazon, even though it actually is being fulfilled by the seller?

It definitely said "Ships from Amazon." This is how the listing is presented before you make your purchase. You can view Ship and Sold by information before you buy it. It isn't until you later complete your purchase and dig into the details do you discover something called "Supplied by" which says Other. I don't think Amazon uses the words "Fulfilled by."

I was initially given the late October to late November timeframe (which hasn't changed) but I was convinced Amazon just needed time to pull together the shipment or else they were waiting on the goods and once received, they would ship. I do not expect to get a shipment directly from the seller. So technically there is no delay and I haven't reached out to Amazon about a delay, I'm just concerned that the item is never fulfilled and I have to fight to get my money back once the Cancel button is gone (it's still there for now).

In addition, I don't want to receive a package from China. I want Amazon to ship it and if I want to return it, I want to return it to Amazon, not to China. I don't want to deal with the possibility of a tariff. Seems to me Amazon should have marked the listing as both Ship by and Sold by Chinese seller if that's the case but I know they are deceptive sometimes.

I think I have enough batteries for my M4P (total of 5) now that I have received one more from B&H.

Changed my mind; don't feel like waiting any longer.
Reason: Items would not arrive on time.
Refund: Done. Already back into my Amazon gift card balance.
