I’m Canadian and purchased my Mavic 4 pro on June 16th and the RC Pro 2 controller the same date, the Creator kit was not available at the time. Everything worked awesome until three days ago when I started having gimbal problems glitching and lagging. At first, I thought maybe my Lexar Gold micro-SD had failed, (U3 – V6 -A1 – 128 GB) so I switched it out to a SanDisk Extreme Pro U3 – A2 - V- 30 – X1 – 128 GB, same issue. I then tried a brand-new Lexar Gold micro-SD card same problem. I checked to see if my SD card was formatted to exFAT again as recommended by DJI I decided to check out my MacBook Pro M3 MAX 64 GB RAM. I cleared all the cashes and deleted about 4,000 e-mails and transferred files to and external hard drive to free up some space on my internal hard drive and had the same issue when I played the video on my MacBook 13 inch two-year-old laptop. I recorded both on the Micro sd card and drone internal hard drive and it made no change; I still had the same issue. I then recorder in 4K and 6K at 24, 30 fps and 60 fps, no change. I recalibrated the gimbal setting several times and checked my gain & expo tuning and flew the drone in Cini, normal & sport mode, no change. I checked that the Fly App is up to date, it is. Finally, I cleaned the surface of the gimbal and the seal at the back of the gimbal attached to the body of the housing, they were clean. So, my final thought was to see if the problem could be fixed with CapCut Pro and Final Cut Pro by stabilizing the video, no luck so I shot a video on my Pocket 3 6K 60 fps with no playback or editing issues.
I don’t think that the gimbal was damaged by me when I removed or put on the gimbal cover as I think it would be easy to do so given how cumbersome the gimbal cover is to use. I hope that someone will make a better gimbal cover soon. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I may call DJI tomorrow and see f they have any idea what the problem is. Thanks
