Mavic 4 Pro Leaked Specs, Price and Date

That's the spirit!! No hesitation😀😀. I was like that too until I found out about the 28mm lens and the likely QB sensor behind it. Playing with the A3S DNG files I am a bit hesitant, TBH. Do you have M3P at the moment? If you do what is the most compelling reason for you to get M4P?
Still have the M3P of course. The big things I am looking at are:

1. Being able to flip to vertical on all cameras and having the controller do the same with the screen.
2. Reported increase in dynamic range.
3. Longer flight time, less batteries to carry.
4. Higher max speed in Sport, getting to and back from subject matter faster leaving more time on the subject.
5. Possibly sharper images even at 25MP standard, DJI knows this is important.
6. I have an Autel EVO II Enterprise and prefer its 28mm lens over the 24mm on the Mavic 3 Pro so the slightly longer lens on the M4P is a win for me.

What I *hope* I can easily do is program or at least easily sequence stitched shots using the two longer cameras to in order to arrive at natively larger file sizes for fine art output, but this is entirely dependent on the operational feature set of the bird / controller. I do this by hand on the M3P and they come out simply amazing on landscape type shots, 60-80MP native res not uncommon. If DJI can create options of 3x3, 4x4, 4x5, 5x6, etc panels and not just horizontal panos with this new bird, I will have a much improved aerial machine for Fine Art.

One can hope anyway...

Better quality still photography. I’m sick of soft corners and noise in dark areas of the images. Hopefully the sensor and lens will be better. If not, I have no need for it.

I do not think so. For shooting architecture the bigger the sensor the better. That is why many top architectural photographers use MF cameras. M3P having 3 different cameras also offers additional creative options. The QB sensor on A3S is photography unfriendly😀😀. I can't wait to see what the 100MP in M4P will be capable of.
Its gonna be a QB in the Mavic 4 pro also

That is interesting that you prefer the 28mm over 24mm. I am used to shoot most of the exterior architectural shots with 24mm (Canon TS-E 24mm) and I got used to having the same focal length on the drone thus photos from both have the same perspective and blend nicely when I present the final set of photos to my client. 28mm would be a novelty to me. I never ever had 28mm.

I've done some stitching creating 180 deg panoramas of city skylines etc but it was never perfect. I needed photoshop the misaligned areas and it was a lot of work. It was the case the closest the building the more stitching errors. As the drone yaws the paralax effect causes the stitching errors as the angle of view changes. But I ntend to give the M4P a try. I would have preferred 24mm but it is what it is. It might be better in the corners at least😀
Looking forward to finding out 🙂

4 days to go. Are you buying on launch day?

I have not decided yet but I won't be in a hurry if I decide to swap my M3P for M4P. I would have to have a compelling reason. I have very good M3P with nicely centered all 3 lenses
Are you??

I’d love one but I think she would call for a divorce 😂

I think the only way I could get one is if I was earning from YouTube etc.

I have the Mini 3 Pro and Air 3s.

I think when the Air 3s came out, the specs were a surprise to many (in a good way), much of which was not reported by the reliable rumour mill before launch. Keenly looking at next Tuesday launch which coincides with my one hour lunch at work. Might then look at starting to work on the missus 😂

Launch time in Australia must be about 2200?

It will be likely on Wed morning here, I guess.

I haven’t really done much stills photography with my drone, though I did do a couple of panos the other day, will need to download them. Only recently swapped my Air 3s due to an assembly crack on one of the legs below the motor which was getting progressively worse. Only have one flight on the replacement, so will need to test more.

Sounds like you may have a difficult decision to make..
