Pro Mavic 4 Pro - Still Image Apature Not Working

I bought it three weeks ago. Registered it. Only now have had a chance to fly it and I find still images are soft as hell and auto mode produces slush and pro mode apature setting will not budge from 2.8. It will on video pro mode. Any ideas before I send it back?

I've reset camera settings etc...no info on this problem anywhere.

Even if the aperture is stuck on f2.8, the main camera should be producing high quality images.
How are the results from the other two cameras?

I'll upload shortly. Just trying some night shots. Suddenly, the apature setting seems to be working.

Every shot on auto is unusable. I'm no pro camera guy, not even close. But my old Mavic 3 produced perfect shots even on auto.

Many thanks for replying. Its bizarre. Its working perfectly. Some spectacular shots. If you're interested I'll post tomorrow.

I have no idea. I left it on auto and it was fine. I am wondering, heat? Its not hot here, 26c. But we are at 6000ft and the sun is fierce. The drone was hot when I landed. I had been hovering and I was talking to people as it sat. I wonder if it was a heat issue? Its night now.
