Never had a problem then when I went to turn it on, it connects and I get the go fly message and can see what the camera is viewing but I cannot move the camera and the sticks have no effect. I did try auto take off and that did work but the only way I could get it back down was pressing the back to home button. Also, I did try moving the sticks down and then left and right but that didn't do anything .I know it's a discontinued model but sure would like to fly it again and would appreciate any advice.

Have you tried to re-link the controller with the drone..? If not, you have the linking procedure below.

Thanks for the assistance. I tried that but holding the rear button for two beeps and even though it said connected I still could not control the camera or a manual takeoff or Direction. But after your message I tried it with just one beep and that seemed to work because then it gave me a message that I needed an upgrade I did the upgrade and who knows I'll test it tomorrow but it does seem to let me move the camera up and down so I think it's going to work. Thanks again for your assistance I probably wouldn't have tried it again without your messaging.

I’m sure you calibrated the sticks. I have found that if I vigorously rotate the controls prior to turning on the power that I don’t get the calibrate command.
I’ve always had minor control glitches with my 1 eg.. the gimbal wheel yawing the drone… un commanded yaws .. etc.
a couple of rapid flicks of the stick always solved the problem..until the next time.

Thanks for the assistance, yes I've tried that, but it didn't help.

Well, seems I go from one problem to the next. Finally got it to connect and everything seems to work including the camera and the controls. It did take two updates before things became normal.

But now, even after fully charging the battery and the controller when it takes off (luckily I kept it very close to the ground) it seems to run fine for about 30 or 45 seconds or so and then it just dies and falls to the ground. I'm still showing a good battery and good power on the controller so I don't know what's happening I've done this about three times and it's always the same doesn't fly for more than about 45 seconds before it just dies.

Anybody had a similar experience and or suggestions on what to do to correct it??
