Mavic Air Controller Pairing Issues

Final Update:
Somehow, someway, something finally clicked and everything is working! Once he got the RC connected, he ran a calibration on the sticks and everything was golden.

Thank you to everyone for your advice and input! Happy I found & joined this forum!
