Hi guys hope someone can help had an crash with drone mavic air, any how all seems well, but CPU overheating errors comes on screen, no fan working, took shell of and can see fan blades broken, and fan not spinning, also the black cooling fins at the back of board also is slightly damaged, couple of fins broken of, has had this type of damage, and will replacement fan work, or

There could be unseen anomalies, I'd send it in to a repair facility. $50-60 will get you a diagnosis, to be applied to repairs if necessary. All systems checked, test flown. Can't beat that.

Please see photos, the fan and the black cooling fins have broken, but don't know what it's called

I believe the cooling fan is part of the "MainBoard". The heat exchange will be effected by it's loss of cooling surface. The "Fan " has defiantly got to be replaced. Try looking on this web site for some help on your tear down. Hope this can help.....

Thank you i have also noticed a crack in the GPS Puck, it's not all the way through, but will try fan first, that is ruined, got one on order, should the fan come on straight away when mavic is powered up thunderdrone? Also if it is a new board what part would i buy, just with them fins broken :(

Wow..that's reasonable!!!!...I'm new to this and that's good to know. Actually, knowing this will make me more relaxed about flying.
